The Council Certifier has carried out his final inspection of the building for compliance to the Council’s building regulations, and subject to the completion of two minor defects, we passed!

The two defects, a disabled parking  sign  required at the disabled car park, and on the main stairs, using paint, improve the visibility of the front edge of the stair treads. Both defects will be rectified this week, with the builder to provide to the Certifier photographic evidence of completion.

More volunteer work has been done to the inside of the hall

The nails in the hall floor have been re-punched and then the floor cleaned using a floor scrubber. This project was organized by Rodney Heading

Painting of the stage and surrounds has begun with a white undercoat nearly completed.

Tactile feedback pads have been glued to the start and finish of the main stairs and the top and bottom of the disabled ramp.
